In February 2003 we had our swimming pool resurfaced. This site shows before, during, and after shots of the work. The work was done well and on time by Lewis Pools of Campbell, CA.

Before work began. Notice the tile and the mottled plaster. We'll have the diving board removed to give us more room at that end of the patio.

Day 2 - Draining the pool. Notice the glass block in the wall around the hot tub. It is cracked and filled with water. We'll have it taken out. The light will be replaced, too.

Day 4 - After the sand-blasting. The tile has been removed, the plaster has been chipped away around the fixtures, and the rust spots have been chipped out. The diving board is gone.

Day 13 - The crew came out on a sunny Saturday to put on the plaster coat. Everything is finished, and the pool is refilling.

All done and filled up. We've already used the hot tub!

This corner had cracked off. We still had the broken-off chunk.

Here, the missing chunk has been reset into its place.

Detail view of the love-seat in the deep end before the work...

...and after.

Here's the old, discolored pool light.

Over the past 6 years, the water in this block went from clear, to green, to icky.

Day 11 - The tile has been set and the mastic coat is in place. Notice that the hole from the glass block has been filled in.

Here is the plastering crew hard at work.
